Antisemitizam i kritika antisemitizma u beogradskim brošurama 1933-1945
Anti-Semitism and its criticism in Belgrade brochures
Abstract
Datiranje i autorstvo brošura kao osnov određivanja promene odnosa vlasti i društvenih grupa pema Jevrejima. Oblici antisemitizma u sadržajima brošura u zavisnosti od autora i perioda u kome je objavljena.
The anti-Semitic campaign and its criticism in Belgrade in the pre-war period depended on political relations between Yugoslavia and Germany. It gained momentum in the year preceding the war when the largest number of brochures were published. The political promoter of the campaign until 1941 was Zbor, and during the war - the propaganda organs of the occupation administration. The contents of the brochures reveal religious and political forms of anti-Semitism, while the racist component was present in the 1941-45 period. The topics of the brochures are global Jewish conspiracy, Jews in the USSR, masons and German enemies at war. By contrast, the number of brochures which criticize anti-Semitism is small and limited to the period when rumours about the introduction of anti-Semitic measures could be heard (1937-38). In these brochures, the authors discuss the existence of the "Jewish problem", its topicality and future. Within a year under occupation Germans killed the entire Jewish pop...ulation of Belgrade. Protest against such measures could be expressed only in whispers, and among good friends. That is why no brochures from this period criticize anti-Semitism.
