The manuscript of the novel "Libermanovi" was included in the shortlist for the Dereta Literary Prize and won the second prize at the 65th competition for unpublished manuscripts with Jewish themes of the Association of Jewish Communities of Serbia for 2022. Like Andrić's prose, Lebrecht's novel provides a spectrum of observations about human beings and non-being. The book "The Liebermans" raises key questions nowadays, questions of guilt and personal responsibility in the relationship between executioner and victim, questions of collective memory and forgiveness, and physical and spiritual exiles, which can classify it in the category of so-called Engaged literature. Although the story, the related plot, is guided spirally from general to individual facts, mostly reduced to German crimes against Jews and other peoples in the Second World War, the novel gets a more universal framework than the plot itself, so the main heroine of the book is perceived as authentic by gesture and act contemporary Antigone.sr
