Povodom obeležavanje saradnje Narodne biblioteke Srbije i Nacionalne biblioteke Izraela na platformi „Jevrejske istorijske štampe” (JPRESS) u sredu 6. septembra 2023. godine u 12 časova u Atrijumu Narodne biblioteke Srbije svečano je otvorena izložba Zbirka “Eventov”: arhiv Udruženja iseljenika iz bivše Jugoslavije u Izraelu. Izložbu je organizovao Centralni arhiv za istoriju jevrejskog naroda u Jerusalimu, Nacionalna biblioteka Izraela u Jerusalimu i Narodna biblioteka Srbije. Izložba je trajala od 4. do 13. septembra 2023. godine a pripremili su je dr Olga Ungar, Damjan Hajim Peković i dr Johaj Ben-Gedalja. Za grafički dizajn zaslužni su Rotem Koen-Soaje i Menahem Zilberg. Arhiv „Eventov” je osnovan 1954. kako bi se zabeležila, sačuvala i dokumentovala istorija Jevreja na tlu Jugoslavije. Osnovali su ga Jakir Eventov (Drago Štajner), istoričar i novinar, i njegova žena Etelka, arhivistkinja, u svom domu u Haifi. Arhiv je funkcionisao pod okriljem Udruženja useljenika iz Jugoslavije u... Izraelu. Prvobitno se zvao Istorijsko-muzealni odbor Udruženja. Nakon smrti Jakira Eventova zbirka je u njihovu čast preimenovana u Arhiv „Eventov”, a 1986. godine prebačena je u Jerusalim, gde je postala deo Centralnog arhiva za istoriju jevrejskog naroda. Zbirka Arhiva je bila podeljena u četiri osnovna fonda: 1) arhiv Udruženja koji, između ostalog, sadrži podatke o njegovim članovima; 2) dosijei o različitim jugoslovenskim jevrejskim zajednicama, cionističkim aktivnostima, jevrejskim organizacijama, antisemitizmu, Holokaustu, Drugom svetskom ratu i iseljenju u Izrael; 3) publikacije; 4) fotografije. Svoj doprinos zbirci dali su i Cvi Rotem, Branko Grosman, Cvi Loker, Ženi Lebl i drugi.
On the occasion of the celebration of the cooperation between the National Library of Serbia and the National Library of Israel on the "Jewish Historical Press" (JPRESS) platform, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 12:00 in the Atrium of the National Library of Serbia, the exhibition "Collection 'Eventov': archive of the Association of Emigrants from the former Yugoslavia in Israel" was opened. Zvi Rotem, Branko Grossman, Zvi Locker, Jennie Lebl and others also contributed to the collection.
